Lol.

The more I think about it, the funnier it is. In the one season, where United lost Fergie In the one season, where half United's players had possibly their worst career seasons In the one season,

Away wins against Arsenal and Chelsea, a draw at White Hart Lane and a hammering of champions Leicester.

Of course they should be feared. Will they win it? Unlikely. Can they? Absolutely.

The 2-0 loss against Burnley wasn't a fair reflection of the game.

They looked impressive against Leicester, I admit. I am not really sure about the Arsenal and Chelsea games, because any team can beat Arsenal on matchday 1 (transfers and shit), but even then they looked likely to concede a 4th goal late in the game.

I don't really think they played Chelsea off the park tbh, but their work rate was admirable. Freak goal aside, the game could have gone either side. But then that's football for you.

I don't even want to think about what happens if we get thrashed at Anfield, or worse - finish below them in the league. Hopefully, Klopp's pattern continues this season and they falter against the mid table clubs.

It wasn't just that Burnley game though, last season after Klopp came in they were fantastic in the big games and had a lot of very impressive victories but then would end up losing or drawing games against sides they should really be beating.

A lot of them shots against Burnley were Countinho doing his best Gerrard impression trying to be the hero and save the day shooting from all sort of ridiculous angles and distances.

It's definatly a problem they've had under Klopp and certainly wasn't a one off result, hopefully it will continue this season

He took over 2 months into the season last year. Now that he's had a full pre-season and signed some players, it's looking more like a Klopp team. Mané will be a key signing for them. He already is.

I think it would be naive to assume that Liverpool will always struggle against mid table clubs just because they did last season.

I think they will tail off after January because of their intensive pressing and high tempo. They tailed off in the 2nd half against Arsenal and Chelsea. But most importantly, they left with the 3 points.

Watched Klopp in Monday Night Football, and he really is a tremendously likeable character. Has spoken quite openly about his ideas and what they try to accomplish on the pitch with Liverpool, which is quite rare to see; and he was very good at explaining everything and made very very valid points for everything Carragher or the presenter asked. I agree with him in most things he said too.

Also, Jamie Carragher gets some stick on here, but from what I saw was quite good on his role as a presenter or co-guest, and made good questions and was interesting to hear as well overall.

Klopp is cracking up. Going after the Neville brothers for criticising their atrocious goalkeeper, while praising Carragher who's been even tougher on him.

The beginning of the end for this lunatic.

i actually agree with Klopp,if I could mute Gary Neville I would, the guy is a bellend,as is his brother.

I think the most telling thing is he's even concerned with going after TV pundits in the first place. Mind you if he's paranoid, then he's perfect for the "never their fault" mob.

If he was in a battle with Jose psychologically, on this evidence Jose would murder him. Liverpool are showing signs of a bottle job.

When Liverpool were 0-1 down I said they'd win 4-1. Seemed inevitable, somehow.

Fair play to Stoke they never shut shop, had there moment's, willpower was there, just the lacking or missing quality.

A better team today would have done them over, all avoidable goals.

Rawk is amazing. Here are a few gems from today.

Speaking about one guy said we aren't far off them. Response was:

"Not in points, but miles behind in football and team development.
Last months results have flattered them considering how they play."

"Our next league game is against them. At their own ground. This time, they will enter the game with high confidence and won't play for a draw. We will massacre them."

"It's 5 and pretty embarrassing for them given the corruption. They should be top with all the favours and money."

"I'm calling it now .... we will lose 1-0 at OT in the league but then smash them in the EFL cup final not long after."

"Fucking hell, the full on wankfest from every talking head on Twitter is nauseating, not a single mention of the offside goal, it's as if they've all been biding their time waiting to launch themselves right up Shitcoats arse, having said that Castles never left his hole."

In all of my 25 years of existence I'm yet to see a more dislikeable manager than Klopp. Klopp reminds me of that kid in high school who tries too hard to be funny and overreacts at everything but everyone laughs at his jokes because he always shares his food.

Couldn't agree more!

Granted i liked him at Dortmund and it probably doesn't help he manages Liverpool BUT the more i've been exposed to him the less and less i find him likeable or appealing.

Never liked him even at BVB Always thought that his achievments in Germany were overstated because the Bundisliga and especially Bayern were absolute shit and he also happened to have a squad of insane talents.

He is a great motivator and is capable of making his teams play attractive football but he's also very one dimensional and tactically lacking.

He is a very good coach, but people rate him on the level of the likes of Mourinho, Pep, Conte, Simeone and Ancleotti when he is not an elite level coach.

Lots wrong with this post.

Klopp built his title winning sides and the team that reached The Champions League final. He also brought through a few Academy players during his time there. His record in the transfer market was excellent at BVB.

  • Hummels
  • Subotić
  • Santana
  • Bender
  • Götze
  • Großkreutz
  • Barrios
  • Hoffman
  • Dorm
  • Leitner
  • Schieber
  • Schmelzer
  • Kagawa
  • Lewandowski
  • Piszczek
  • Perišić
  • Gündogan
  • Reus
  • Sokratis
  • Aubameyang
  • Mkhitaryan
  • Ginter
  • Ramos

In fact, your boy Simeone is following Klopp's career trajectory; Experience huge success for the 3-4 seasons and then tail off. Atlético Madrid will be lucky to finish 4th this season.
