nirav 1,143
Is he a baller? Will be definitely better than mcfred. hdcantona
Eddie 607
Hopefully we get this over the line, looks good at the moment at least. Would be nice to have the option to buy at the end of the season? I'm happy we've acted quickly since the news of Eriksen's injury. I feel like ten Hag has pushed for another deal. Encouraging news. Pap1918

John Locke 1,162
A good acquisition and a vital one as Eriksens absence leaves us thin in that area. Gary and Pap1918
Footy with Uti 0
Evening all, hope you’re doing well. Here’s a 3-minute video detailing everything you need to know about Marcel Sabitzer and why I believe he’s the perfect signing for Manchester United given the circumstances for those interested. I’d love to hear your thoughts and answer any questions you may have, cheers and have a good one!
TheManc 4,052
Is he first choice or back up to Fred?

Initially back up but wouldn't be shocked to see him starting soon enough tbh I think of him as a better slightly further forward version of Fred in some ways Pap1918 and TheManc
John Locke 1,162
Looks like an all round midfielder to me. Athletic, physical, can carry the ball forward and knows how to pass. With weghorst, sabitzer and martinez you see a pattern of signing tough characters. Malacia also has good workrate and desire. We had many players with that mentality under fergie so it's a good step in the right direction. Gary, Pap1918 and 1Day
Jay007 3,379
A bit out of the blue this to say the least. I didn't expect to see us doing any business, even with Eriksen's injury, but I think we do need another midfielder now that he's out. Despite his (decent) pedigree I can't really say I've really noticed him much, so no idea what he'll bring. It'll be interesting to see how the move works out. CB78 347
know nothing about him- but reads like could be a sensible signing- still in the trust Ten Haag camp- hopefully makes an impact

Mate, Albert Tatlock would be an improvement on mcfred and he's been dead for 30 odd years. 1Day 115
Was very good a few seasons back,he’s the type of player, that goes for the ball, rather than wait.

The only fault I can see is the fact that it's morning down here in Oz
nirav 1,143
He looked stable till the time he stayed on the pitch. Nothing fancy and moved the ball well. We have thrust him into action and make things worse paired him with Fred. He will have better games once casemiro returns. Jay007
hdcantona 8,731
I think he'll be great paired with casemiro, considering he's not had that much game time just prior to joining and the need to try and bed in quickly he looks encouraging Jay007
Jay007 3,379
I liked the look of him. He needs time to settle in and get up to speed, but he did look 'all-action'. Used the ball well, got around the pitch and was unlucky not to score with a few decent efforts. Judged on first viewing, I think he'll do well with Casemiro as well. hdcantona
Gary 169
He gets a wee bit on the angry side tho
