His pressing isn't being backed up by anyone behind him, and on the seemingly rare occasion we get the ball to him there's nobody near him, which just exposes his lack of pace/mobility. I do find ita bit bizarre we don't try to utilise him if he's playing for us. Our wide players and midfielders continually turn down good opportunities to get balls into the box - I think we got the ball into the box more today after he went off. I've heard and read on so many occasions about his work rate. Where does this guy put in said work rate? I've certainly not seen it

PVAD 4,635
Disgraceful yesterday after Garnacho scored. There's a brilliant clip of the move from above..he's to the right of Garnacho screaming for it to be played to him..the young lad obviously senses shit instantly and thinks fuck that I'm not passing to that lanky streak of piss...and promptly scores. As Garnacho and the rest of the players near to him sprint to celebrate Weghorst just stops, head to the ground and doesn't even bother to celebrate with him. NOB! I still can't understand why Ten Hag is using him as the first default substitute. It's not 100% confirmed but in the slim chance Ten Hag goes to the board and asks them to sign him up on a permanent the club may as well fold. Can't quite tell which vein you're writing in comrade. Sarcastic surely? I cringe every time I see his name mentioned in the squad, never mind starting 11.
