------------------------------Dubravka----------------------------

AWB-----------Varane------------------Martinez--------Shaw

-----------------Casamiro ----------------Eriksen------------

Antony----------------------Bruno--------------------------Sancho

--------------------------------Ronaldo-----------------------------------

We do need to give AWB/Shaw some game time if they are fit. Probably the same for VDB but i can't trust him. Ronaldo/Antony/Casamiro need to get sharpness.

I’d go close to full strength then tbh

Ronaldo

Rashford------Bruno------Antony

Eriksen McTominay

Malacia Lisandro Varane Dalot

De Gea

Who would have thought that McTominay would retire Casemiro while being average himself.

Rashford isn't in the squad and I expect them to sit back loads so presume sancho will be left - not sure if it'll be McSauce or Casemiro but yeah pretty much what you have there

Our xG is 0.59 from open play tonight.

Apart from the move for the Sancho goal, it's been poor. We were gifted a penalty from nothing. And the Sancho shot that was cleared off the line was a terrible pass from the GK.

The only real positive is that we look far less susceptible to counter attacks without Shaw, Maguire and AWB.

Ronaldo has been awful, Antony has been quiet, and Casemiro still looks like he's hungover.

Sancho hasn't done a whole lot outside of those 2 shots (1 goal) either.

I think that goal aside, Antony has been very quiet in all his minutes so far. Not seen anything from him yet, though still early of course. Eventually Sancho has to be involved in discussions over how good he really is.

The performance could've been more convincing against really what amounted to fodder. In attack we often tried to force the pass or were impatient. A couple of times when we did show precision and patience we fashioned a chance. Ronaldo and bruno were poor. I thought Ronaldo might still have a few good years in him but the signs are he's washed up at the highest level.
