A very important decision to be made by ETH in this cup,should he seek a plan to win it, as a safety net,UCL ,is very important in obtaining the best talent available,I know he wil put the EPL as first priority, at this stage,but UTD have almost a previous first team, with a few additions,if required,it would be great to finish in the top 4,and also win this competition.. imagine the type of player that UTD could attract.

The changes are rarely as thorough as people expect in these games. Varane needs the break and Martinez left the Arsenal game holding his groin so I imagine he's out. Rashford was holding his hamstring too and I think he may have started otherwise. Our forwards need to build up some sort of chemistry. 

If Sociedad score early the usual PTSD for these players could kick in. Have to start fast.

Spanish teams generally don't travel well.

United haven't conceded the 1st goal since Brentford, so that will be interesting when it eventually does happen. We've often folded like a wet paper bag once we concede. Had the Martinelli goal been given, I think we could have been in for a horror show. They were impacted by it when it wasn't even given. The performance dropped off dramatically.

Sancho would suit this game, but really doesn't deserve to start.

I'm taking my talents to Naples anyway.

Eriksen is only 30, sure he can around 180 minutes a week FFS, plus need to get our monies worth just in case.
