His problem has become quite clear now, he just can't adjust to this pace. Must get things sorted soon or we could be in real trouble. Can you imagine a McFred midfield in the run-in? Frightening! Well for the next 4 prem games it will be just that. He's out, Eriksen and Sabitzer are crocked. McTominnay has been first choice centre midfield sub replacement so I'd imagine he'd go straight into the team. Nearly 4 years on we're still discussing a McFred combo which just beggars belief for this club that those 2 and Fernandes will be our elite midfield. That 4th place could go for a Burton within weeks if the bald wizard isn't careful with his selections. It's Solskjaer all over again. Sickening! John Locke 1,162
The red looked very harsh. It's one thing conceding a dodgy goal to var but when you lose a player after 30 min it's like a double whammy. Var has been good for offsides and goals that cross the line but there needs to be more clarity about other infringements.

That's widely accepted at this point. Sabitzer and Bruno escaped red cards for similar challenges recently, so it caught up with them.

How are you supposed to make a slide tackle without studs showing, and you can make such a tackle without going over the ball. Football is become a parody of itself. Well he'll have to go with them he has left himself with no other options. The overall point is even when Case & Eriksen return he, it seems, will still keep McFred hovering around the first team and therein lies the wider problem. I honestly believe he actually rates those 2 which is dangerous for our future. 2/3 quality midfielders are required this summer we can not talk about McFred being a part of the first team next season. Do we want to really compete? Ten Hag does therefore like I said he has to be very careful with his selections next year. If we're here discussing match day threads next season and we see a line up consisting of DDG Shaw McFred Fernandes Sancho Weghorst all starting we may as well give up as the ambition to succeed is no longer there. Casemiro and Eriksen are 30's too and VDB has proved to be an anticlimax. Major surgery is required. Pap1918 and hdcantona
Gary 168
Christ, after watching this kinda performance against the mighty Real Betis, shows just what we're gonna be capable of when he's out. The blind leading the dumb as fuck. What a disjointed performance

He's proven before that he's like fuckin brick wall for opponents to overcome. Shaw as CB on left with Malacia taking over LB position. Really can't see any other viable options hdcantona

Always appeared as the proverbial ' rabbit in the headlights ' to me. Nowhere near the class which would be required to play in this (or any) position for Utd. Can't handle the thought of going with any of Ole's dependables!
