It's pre-season so don't look into it they always say. The worrying thing is the main 2 games Madrid and Dortmund there was nothing to suggest that anything will change next season. @hdcantona will be able to comment on the other 2 games.

People keep referring to it's only pre-season but and there has been probably 20 different combination of teams in total over those games but one thing has stuck out like a sore thumb ..those stupid errors from whatever combination of defenders.

It's worrying that it's consistently happening and say what you want if those issues are not addressed he'll find they transcend onto the pitch when it matters. What the hell are the defensive coaches teaching these lot? 

I see he came out with his go to phrase yesterday about never giving up and bouncing back....I hope that phrase is not wheeled out many times during the season I can't stand it.

He's done a good job at getting rid of players. Ronaldo, De Gea, Jones, Telles, Maguire and possibly Fred all gone by the start of his 2nd season.

However...

Weghorst. Making Bruno captain. And there's talks of a new deal for AWB. Son, I am disappoint.

It's now his squad by the end of this window. The spine of the team has been altered with the signings of Onana, L.Martínez, Casemiro, Mount and Højlund.

8 permanent signings. Two promotions in Garnacho and Mainoo. And there'll probably be another CB and midfielder brought in.

I'd say he needs one more window like this before it's truly his, but it's a lot more his than it isn't now (or will be if we do get a mid and CB in)

Really would have liked to see him bring young Ferguson in from Brighton. 1 or 2 seasons at OT and that lad would turn in to the dynamic CF that the fans would love. Boyhood Utd ( and Celtic) fan, we would have 10+ years of him as our 1st choice striker no doubt.
