In a normal season with 76 points you fight between 3rd and 4th. We need a big Summer to even hold Chelsea and Liverpool at bay, nevermind somehow close the gap on City. We are a bit like Liverpo

Well done to all involved.

All that talk of rotation in the press and he churns out this shite with two subs and one of those came in the 86th minute.  Absolute dogshit manager.

Certainly not what anyone would have expected today!

Understand the strength of feeling and protests do only achieve something if they make an impact, albeit it's difficult to know what this will actually achieve long-term.

Also, when you see some of the behaviour involved it does make you wonder how many of them were actually bothered about the issue and how many of them just turned up to cause trouble for whatever reason.

The only effect the protest will have is for fans to see how easy it is to get a game called off. The Glazers will be unfazed, they got debts to pay

Correction. The club's got debts to pay. The Glazers are insulated.

Meanwhile in Florida the Glazer family started their family barbecue with rolled up banknotes.

Unless someone gets to them in America they won’t give a hoot

Went round Rooneys house and got him to stay

Need to go round the glazers houses and get them to leave.

Assaults on police out of order.

Anything that happens to the ginger yanks is fine.

Smashing up some freelancer's gear to get the Glazers out. Worth the criminal charges for sure.

What a mug must have thought he had his invisible to cloak on.

Bizarre Shameful Meaningful Historic Stupid Cowardly Pointless .... mixture of all today.

These fckrs have too much time on there hands

No Glazer / Woodward fan but protests today bit of a farce really -

got a lot wrong but spent £1billion since Fergie retired.  ESL wasn’t solely about Glazer personal greed, it was as much about nxt level security for UTD (all be it in a misguided very selfish way)

Hypocrite fans whinge about getting rid of current Billionaire owners only for another set of Billionaires to come in?

Gary Neville thinks he’s Arthur Scargill or something?  Like greed / financial unfairness is a new thing? ? Don’t think so Gary

When aren't protests a farce? The less of a farse they are the less anyone gives a shit. If i was still living there I'd probably have gone as i did to bolster support against the murdoch takeover years back.

The Glazers have committed daylight robbery on this football club. 1 billion is touted around like some magic figure but overall their spending has been cautious. Fergie already had the nucleus of a future successful team before they arrived and once they peaked we were signing players like bebe and obertan while they siphoned money out of the club and allowed city to steal the march on us.

I think many fans have been bothered about the financial state of the game for a while. Now that the owners are completely ignoring the core supporters and treating the club as franchises many just see it as a step too far.

  • hdcantona changed the title to 2020/2021: PL Matchday 34 - Man Utd v Liverpool *Take two* (13/5)

Seeing the team tonight, we'll obviously be playing our strongest 11 aside from Maguire. Bailly will probably come in for him, but considering how well Tuanzebe played tonight I wouldn't mind giving him another game,

At least we're not going into the game with the chance of seeing City win the title after a loss to Liverpool. That would be far worse than tonight.
