Sorry he is injured but could be a blessing. He didn't look out of place in the first team. I'd like to see him develop at United.

He scored his 12th goal of the season today. He's going to prove a lot of people wrong. Arteta would turn him into a monster like Saka.

His loan at Sunderland is going very well.

4 goals & 1 assist from his last 6 starts.

He had only started 1 game before these 6 on the bounce. He's won the manager over and is quickly becoming a fan favourite.

He could be on 10+ goals by May.

I've always rated him highly. He has fundamentals that Elanga and Pellistri lack, despite their raw pace.

Amad has the IQ. It's a huge step up to The PL though.

Love a good comeback & player who turns things round against the odds (& haven’t seen any of what Amad’s doing at Sunderland to be fair)

but very sceptical, from what I saw when up here in Scotland no chance he’s making it at UTD.  Possibly the worst loan signing ever made by Rangers - bar a glimpse in 1st game he made no impact at all, no signs of form / zilch

Elanga’s streets ahead from what I’ve seen

I disagree completely.

I watched him at Rangers. He wasn't what you described. They gave him a measley 344 mins of Scottish Premiership experience, and be still managed to score 3 goals from just 4 starts.

Rangers loaned in Malik Tilman from Bayern this season. He's a year older than Amad was last season. He's scored 3 goals from 861 mins of Scottish Premiership experience. 10 starts.

van Bronckhorst didn't get enough out of his signings/loans.

Amad has something about him:

  • Scored on his Atalanta debut at 17
  • A brace vs Liverpool U23 on his debut
  • That header away at Milan
  • Assist on his PL debut
  • A goal for Ivory Coast from just 64 mins worth of action
  • Scored on his Rangers debut

He has needed a run of starts, and now he's finally getting them.

Nah

Atlanta/Ivory coast stats totally diff subject?

don’t believe you watched him enough?

could line up 50 rangers supporters & they’d all say same thing- on the bench for a reason

goals one thing, he had chances & didn’t take them, showed no glimpses of real form in slightest (we’re talking UTD quality here & he’s already 20)

listen - I sincerely hope I’m wrong;

seems a shy type (actually used to see him around our area a bit when he was up) I’d love to see young player like him find some confidence & make it -   Just can’t see it from what I’ve seen

😂 Not a hun as it happens - just live in Glasgow (there’s a few Rangers & Celtic supporters up here, - it’s strange I know)

Yup - then the videos/GIF’s when your really struggling-

🥱 yawn- have a good night my friend

I'm not struggling with anything. You have decided that Amad is a nothing player based off a few Rangers fans who wrote him off after a bad game vs Celtic. A game in which every single Rangers player was terrible. Celtic have battered them in the last few Old Firm games.

You also think 20 is old, which is ridiculous. The fact that he has achieved all of the milestones I listed between 17-20 in multiple leagues/countries/environments, only reflects well on him. United have handled his development terribly. The same with Pellistri. Despite not having a settled environment, he's gotten on with it and produced goals/assists at every single level.

But you couldn't seem to grasp that.

Elanga is getting worse by the game. He's actually been given opportunities at United, so he only has himself to blame.

Wouldn’t go as far as a nothing player

as I said, I’d love to see Amad come good,   confidence is a big thing/bit of luck, Ten Hagg might effect, great if he turns it around

just saying in my view, from what i saw in Scotland, very uninspiring, made no impact, didn’t see anything like enough to think he’ll make it at UTD

decent record before coming to UTD I hope he comes gd but got my doubts

Agree on some of it. He was awful in Scotland but think he was rangers best loan signing ever (Glasgow bias obviously) Elanga? Get real man, wouldn't have him  sitting on the bench in my reserve team!

thought Elanga was decent in spells particular under Ralph (if I remember right)

one of the players I thought would really develop under Ten Haag?

if Garnacho / Pellistri getting more game time ahead of him TH clearly doesn’t rate him

Just can't see it. Championship side, maybe, but shouldn't be near any MUFC dressing room, never mind team!

Saw more "clippage" of him the other day and I tell you what the confidence in him is amazing!

What I Ike is that he comes deep to receive and his trickery at the moment is superior than our Antony. Sorry just my opinion but he seems at ease in that position cuts in like Antony with a decent shot but he can also burn players up with speed which the other lad seems to struggle with.

Yeah we're talking Championship but there are some hard bastard defenders plying their trade in that league and he seems to be taking the piss at the moment.

Ten Hag should seriously consider introducing him back into the first team next season.

He is, as they say, a United style player!

Please to God I hope they don't let this guy drift off to another club.

A fraction of Antony money and has been outstanding for Sunderland. He gets beaten and bruised but is strong. He assists and scores involved in all 4 goals scoring 2 v Hull.

He has to be a contender if Ten Hag likes Antony he should be busting a gut to secure this guy's future as a United player as I believe he has more in his game than Antony.

Imagine him on one wing and Garnacho on the other.

Ever the optimistic I really hope Amad proves me wrong

But, Championship form v Prem league - totally different standard?

Aleksandar Mitrović Scored 43 goals in the championship last yr?    let’s see.

we need options/depth on the right but sadly I just don’t think Amad’s the answer
