2019/2020: PL Matchday 33 - Man Utd vs Bournemouth

Recommended Posts

We have to batter these. 3 wins and 2 draws from their last 20 PL games.

Martial

Rashford-----------Bruno-------Greenwood

Matić Pogba

Williams Maguire Lindelöf AWB

De Gea

Subs: Romero, Shaw, Bailly, McTominay, Fred, Andreas, Mata, James, Ighalo

McTominay might be useful for this, as Lerma and Billing are very physical despite Bournemouth usually being a decent technical side with good pace. Matić and McTominay can match them physically.

3-0 win hopefully.

After todays subs I'm scared to suggest any rests.

We're going to have to rest some players eventually. Probably enough rest days before this and the Villa game.

But we play Southampton, Palace and Chelsea (FA Cup) over a 5 day period! As it stands.

Oh shit....yeah that will be tough. Too much reliance on the dross. I wonder if Ole would play the 2nd team against Chelsea? SAF did in the 2009 FA Cup semi.

Winning The FA Cup will be important to Ole. It's good for his CV and will help him build a case that he's working towards something here.

Something for the Cantos of the world to fap to.

The Fa cup is the greatest competition any team can win, never mind this league and champions league nonsense. Unless we don't win it then it's shit and The Europa is where it's at

I'm looking forward to our 2nd place finish next season. And then Ole's meltdown the following season.

Quinton Fortune will then be approached for an interim role, and the cycle will continue.

It used to be. Cup Final day was one of the highlights of the year, especially when we were in the final. Waxing nostalgic for a minute, if you were lucky enough to watch United at the old Wembley in a cup final. it is a memory to be cherished. 100,000 people in full voice was very loud and the old Wembley had good acoustics.

I don't like the new stadium or the fact that semi-finals are played there. It was a privilege for a club to get to the old stadium but now it feels like a cynical attempt to cash in. United v. Chelsea should be played at Villa Park, a decent half-way point for both sets of fans (or their cardboard cut-outs). This one is in Chelsea's back garden, or near enough.

The mirror are reporting that Pogba AND Bruno got injured in training today after running into each other.

If true, it would just be our fucking luck. Hopefully it's nothing serious if we're missing them for any length of time we have no chance of top 4

Fuck sake

Ole had this coming. Lucky as fuck with things like LASK suffering two ACL injuries days before the game.

Club Brugge were missing two of their best players for the return leg.

Tanganga fracture.

They even call it Ole juju when things go our way.

Apparently it was posted on a parody site hours before and The Mirror ran with it because, well they're The Mirror.

Hopefully that's the case. Says it all about the state of some journalists that they managed to fall for something that was such an obvious pisstake within 10 seconds of reading the article. Suppose they don't care as they get their clicks and that's all that matters these days

Manchester United's players will meet at Carrington soon before heading to Old Trafford in their own separate cars, as they did before Sheffield United game. Phil Jones the only player who's been in this morning so far. Pogba and Fernandes expected to be fit and fine. #mufc
