2019/2020: PL Matchday 5 - Man Utd vs Leicester City

Recommended Posts

De Gea

AWB Lindelof Maguire Young

McTominay Pogba

Rashford Mata James

Martial

1-3

Ole enters the final stretch. Would have started Matic until his betrayal on international duty. Will bring on Lingard at 1-2 to save the day. Greenwood comes on to play RW at 1-3 with 5 mins left.

Pogba to get sent off. Fans to boo. De Gea to howl.

Look at how weak that side is

Mctom is a lidl Darren Fletcher

Rashford =David Bellion

Young=Clayton B

Mata= an old boy with the odd decent game in him

Martial=Peter Davenport

De gea= Massimo Taibi on recent games

Its a shitshow of a side and we will win fuck all for a decade without an arab takeover

Thems the facts

Its like the 70s with worse music

Whether or not Ole stays here beyond December is up to where Pogba is played this week. If he starts again in the double pivot, then it's all over.

Gotta feeling he won't, and we'll thrash Leicester. They like open plays, so it should give us a lot of space on the break.

4-1.

Or, Pogba was shit in a 3 man midfield. Maybe his positioning isn't a problem, maybe he's just fucking inconsistent.

What you should have said is whether Pogba is on form or not could be decisive in the outcome.

It's impossible to tell when Pogba will be in form. When he starts in double pivot, he actually stinks the place out and is an embarrassment of a footballer. Can't remember how many times he gave the ball away to the opposition already this season from dangerous positions in our own half. We are lucky to have met all relegation clubs until now.

When he plays LCM, at least this aspect of his game is eliminated. Whether he is in form or not is entirely another thing, but he is still a million times better player than he is in double pivot.

Perhaps, my point is he can stink the place up in a midfield 3 as well. Against Chelsea he was good from deep. Pogba wants to play where he is playing now anyway, he's fine there for France. Form is key and that's just his biggest problem.

Any fresh injury concerns during internationals? or just Shaw out? (I know AWB missed england but I think he should be fine for this and hopefully Martial too?)

Ole will reveal all tomorrow.

Yanited.

Sorry I saw your reply on my phone, but I don't like posting through it.

Pogba is good for France because their attackers aren't brain dead cunts like ours. They make smart runs, have better finishing, better technique, less selfish and better all round consistency than anyone we have currently have up front.

His chance creation to goal conversion ratio for France should be light years ahead compared to us. This easily masks his other short comings I'd say.

The Chelsea game is a perfect example of it; Rashford converted the best chance of the game and it made Pogba look like a boss. In reality, he was struggling to find his feet in the first half and was bouncing off their forwards trying to win possession back.

He created a couple of really good chances against Soton and CP too, just that Rashford was too fucking shit to make anything out of it. Had those gone in, no one will be complaining about Pogba in the double pivot.

The point is, we don't good enough forwards to mask Pogba's weakness in a midfield two. When he is LCM, he can drift out wide and deliver some nice crosses at least, something we saw a lot during the initial weeks after Ole took over.

All this debate about Pogba and he’s not even playing.

Out injured along with Martial, Shaw and Dalot. Lingard and AWB are doubtful.

Good job we invested in that squad depth. Prepare your anus.

Pogba will go missing even if he played, he's our main man but he's just below par. More injuries, this game is even more of a clusterfuck now, we will get beaten just watch.

Already confirmed Young, Matić and Mata as options to come in.giphy.gif
