JJtheRed 6,164
Biggest waste of money at the club - Pogba and wages for an army of Goalkeepers included.
John Locke 914
I think his emergence in the england set up a few years ago has led people to believe he was a better player than he was. My main issues are his lack of acceleration and he doesn't seem to have the positional awareness to make up for it. Also i see nothing in him that warrants being awarded the captaincy. No sign of leadership capabilities, no passion just the usual excuses when he has to justify a bad performance. As captain and centre half he has to bear some of the blame for the lack of organization at the back. One example was AWB being caught out of position badly for the first goal. This kind of lapse has happened repeatedly this season. A true captain would get stuck into someone for such mistakes. The other players have to respect him and fear him. nirav 883
He has played a lot of football this season already. When we have the opportunity then he needs to be rested a bit or risk more mistakes and injury from him.

TheManc 3,345
Gary Neville had him in the PL team of the year conversation lol. aardvarked
Sownak27 2,659
I think his recent performances have been going under the radar a little. He's looked a lot more confident on the ball, better passing out from the back, and a lot more assured in defence. Granted, he does still have the occasional moment of clumsiness every now and then, but his performances have definitely improved over the past month. hdcantona and TheManc

rezzy 4,372
For like the 3rd or 4th time this season he lets the ball run across his body in our box which we concede from. Lindelof/Bailly for the rest of the season please.
TheManc 3,345
Annoying as he had a good game other than that.
Cole 3,235
Aside from the goal he was actually really good last night. Having said that he still has to do much better it was a simple clearance. TheManc
O 18,512
Ruben Dias has been very impressive for City so far. Similar profile to Maguire. That's what we should expect for the money spent. van Dijk, Laporte and Dias are three CBs we missed out on. Maguire isn't terrible. He's just an awkward looking mofo. Not the most elegant. A bit disagree regarding Maguire . Actually he built an impression for a class player at Leicester where the team tactics were more defensive oriented with more men involved and well packed . Even Stones is more useful for City then Maguire for United. At least Stones scored an important goal ,while Maguire wasted good cross last game at 0:0 .

He played in League One and The Championship for years. Seen it before. Maguire would take a game against Barnes and Wood every time if you offered it to him, as opposed to marking small, explosive stickers with quick feet. But yeah, he did play well. Jay007 2,816
Having to defend his box against high balls is his bread and butter, so he's always going to do well in that type of game. He did do quite well on the ground as well tbf, but he wasn't exactly up against the quickest and most skilful strikers which is when he really struggles.
