I'm pumped seeing him perform for us in the PL. He really looks like a humble kid who works hard. There was a mention that he started pre-season training (in Dubai if I remember correctly) way earlier than the other players, coaches paid for by himself.

He was voted man of the match. Not so sure he did enough for that but he had a half decent game given that he only had 45 mins to impress. He was a threat and was good to see him getting in behind on a few occasions but more often than not there was no end product. I felt he could have also been more direct when receiving the ball and facing up to the full back. Not sure why, with his pace, he didn't take on the full back. All he had to do was knock it and run past him. May not have been successful every time but with his pace he would get the better more often than not. And that's what gets people off their seats. Too often he received the ball, controlled it and turned back and played it back to Young or Matic or Jones. Was hoping to see more direct play from him.

But all in all he looked half decent without really exciting. It was only 45 mins in his first pre season game for us. Hoping he will improve and form a partnership on the left with Shaw.

He looks useful on the counter but when a team sits deep his impact is nullified. He needs to develop crossing, finishing and trickery to really become a top player.
