1st penalty save from 40 attempts since April 2016!

He's in good form this season. Henderson getting Covid has given him a chance at redemption and he's taking it so far.

worst stat ever. yesterday's save was more to he went left by chance and Noble shooting the same way De Gea went. it was simply chance.

his dip in form will start from January .

Great news, delighted with this. People are far too quick to write him off he's still a fantastic keeper and is still one of the few genuine world class players we have even if he has had a rough few

99 times out of 100 that's given a foul. I don't see the big deal.

#1 DAVID DE GEA One year ago, he was the undisputed best keeper in the league and arguably the best in the world. But a particularly poor showing at the World Cup and the seeds of doubt had been

It was an easy save if you guess the right way, yeah.

We'll see.

I think I read the other day that he came back to pre-season training earlier than everyone else, and it seems to be paying off just now.

Considering how long he's been out of form for he's got a long way to go before we can have full faith in him again, but he's certainly been in really good form this season and has saved us at least 5 points so far.

Zapata should have buried his chance after rolling Lindelöf. He made it easier for De Gea than it should have been. Ronaldo did the same at the other end with Musso.

But he did well to react to rebound from Malinovsky. The double save was the key to the comeback. Game over at 1-3.

Prick.

Much better this season. He can now save penalties!

But... both Bernardo Silva and João Pedro beat him at his near post recently. They can be added to his list of GK errors.

And the Iličić one was poor as well.

I would still look for a new GK in the long term. Ramsdale's distribution has been a huge asset to Arsenal this season.

Ederson is obviously a wizard as well.

Need a modern keeper, someone who's an 11th outfield player. That's where the top clubs are going. De Gea is on the opposite end of the spectrum.

De Gea never gets called out for his worst traits because he never takes risks. It's infuriating.

The Saleh chance from the Rashford back pass against Liverpool is what De Gea is all about - A "great save" from a chance that wouldn't have came about vs 95% of the league's keepers.
