MrSwellman 7,732
Full Name - Aaron Wan-Bissaka Date of Birth - November 26, 1997 Place of Birth - Croydon, United Kingdom. Height - 6" Weight - 72 kg Position - Full-Back Number - 29 Facebook Twitter Instagram It's been quite awhile since United had a recognised full-back docked in the back four, perhaps you even have to cast your mind back to the days of Gary Neville as in recent years it's been two converted wingers that have deployed by our plethora as managers. One thing for sure this is an improvement to the squad, and should shower up a porous right side a lot given how well AWB has performed defensively for balance. €50 million is a vast amount of money but if he can churn out the performances he's displayed for Palace for the next decade it would probably be by all accounts a shrewd invest. However, offensively the question marks remains? Can he improve his game in the coming season and offer a proper attacking threat going forward. Only time will tell. An exciting signing for sure and his potential is a cause for optimism if nothing else. hdcantona

Juanderful 3,456
This design aesthetic we're running with this season gives me a real hard-on. Stupid ass pose mind. Honestly, I am just happy we (probably) won't have to keep watching Young play there for another season.
Cole 3,277
This is one of the best signings we've made in a while and if he's a success, £50 million won't look bad for 10-15 years service if all goes well.
vpatrickd 16
Do you think he's worth the 90,000 pounds a week salary? I think Dalot will find himself playing either right-wing (in front of AWB) or backup to this lad.

Even at his Palace level he’s plenty good enough for us, if he kicks on as he should he’ll comfortably be one of our best players.
SimplyGiggs 5,154
Dalot will be playing for whichever middle of the pack Spanish side have a spare £13m in 2 years time so his development is not a major issue to consider.
THE BASTARD 1,401
Dalot's position hasnt changed. Ole realised quickly that defensively he's clueless and looked for more reliability. So Dalot will be keeping Darmian company on the bench until like you say, some half arsed Spanish or Portuguese team takes him for £15 million.

Canto 6,855
Beast. Showed he's able to step up to this level anyway. Going to be a huge player for us in games like today for years to come and hopefully he can add a bit more going forward and think then we'll have one of the best in his position in the world for years to come(I don't think it's even as bad as some people would make you believe, but can definitely improve that area ). Defensivly there are very few better already and he's still only 21 Great player and signing Jay007 and JaimeL

Such an intelligent, acrobatic player. Love having a decent right back again - helps us immensely in stretching play and giving the attackers more space to roam in. Yep even as an attacker in front of him it must be great knowing you can cheat a little bit with your tracking back knowing that more often then not he will win his duels and you don't have to be covering him constantly which is something we've lacked for a long time now. An immense debut and only the start for the kid. JaimeL
JaimeL 314
Just now, Canto said: Yep even as an attacker in front of him it must be great knowing you can cheat a little bit with your tracking back knowing that more often then not he will win his duels and you don't have to be covering him constantly which is something we've lacked for a long time now. An immense debut and only the start for the kid. I've never seen a player before whose tackling is genuinely mesmerising - it's like he's 8 feet tall, he's just so dominant with those long legs. Hope he never accidentally injures himself (or an opponent) with his insane reach, delighted with the signing.
nirav 1,143
Brilliant today. If he continues like this than 50mill will be a bargain.
JaimeL 314
Great mention from Football365 - Quote Unlike most of his teammates, Aaron Wan-Bissaka led by example from kick-off. Little over 90 seconds had passed before he promptly stopped Emerson in his tracks, dispossessed the left-back and chipped the ball to safety. By the fifth minute, Pogba was unnecessarily pirouetting to evade Barkley and Kovacic before managing to poke the ball to his right-back. Wan-Bissaka looked straight up and alleviated the pressure within seconds by finding Pereira with a short, sharp pass to launch an instant counter-attack. With six tackles, three interceptions and five clearances, the 21-year-old played with the cool authority of someone ten years older and wiser. He is probably the easiest of United’s three summer signings to forget, purely because it already feels like he has been there for years. Love him already, such a solid unit at right back. Jay007 3,379
Fantastic debut performance. He's a great athlete, solid defensively and such a great tackler. It's brilliant to have a such a quality full-back again after such a long period. His attacking play doesn't look up to much just now, but that's not a huge concern for me. We need to improve an awful lot defensively from where we were last season, so we need him to be solid defensively first and foremost. Anything on top of that will be a bonus. Agree with this - he's already solid defensively as a full-back, that's the most important thing here. We had a big problem with our defence last season and even at times yesterday too, we still looked a bit fragile, but this guy is a hugely significant upgrade on Young at full-back last season. His attacking play will improve as he continues to develop here, I've no doubt about that whatsoever. But let's all appreciate the fact that Wan-Bissaka is already one of the best full-backs defensively, in this league and he's only 21. He's a gem of a player. Delighted we got him this summer. You can see him being a massive fan favourite this season. Jay007
Danny boy 1,686
Great debut, tidy and composed on the ball; and when he did have a chance to create something he would try and pick someone out. Having someone at right back who is able to do this is so important, he gives some vital stability and balance to the back four.
