United Extra on twitter running with Romano saying its definitely off.

Like i said, smell of shite.

It shouldn't even be considered, fucking pocket change for a player like him.

 Figure it out yourself!

Ole and Ed would be better of running with "our business is complete" instead of trying to make it look like we're scrambling for players that we have no intention of signing.

The fan will only riot more when we make no signings.

Would just make us look worse as a club if its presumed we've failed for Dybala and Eriksen. With de Ligt already saying 'fuck off' earlier in the window. Not even Longstaff and Newcastle will try force a move like.

Amazing to think 50 for eriksen with a year left is a bargain meanwhile half the forum was outraged in 2011 when we paid about 15m for young with a year left on his deal

The money in football is nuts now

Its all because we have to share with all the shit clubs nowadays. Back when they were kept poor, we could swindle them for lower amounts.

The issues now are because we've allowed them to have money. I say we take it back.

No way, the club should hire Roma’s Twitter admin and have him post a witty tweet every time an agent or club uses our name to drive up the price of a player.

Spurs have agreed a fee with Juventus for Dybala.

Hope he fucking kills it.

tbf so had we - whether he lowers his demands massively because they're in london and the cl is another thing though - maybe there is truth in the eriksen rumours if they're getting him or coutinho

We're like an excited dog on a walk, lifting the leg on every lamppost in town.

That's if you believe half the reports anyway. I do think we've been a bit more disciplined in this window, but if there's truth to this Eriksen rumour, why is it coming down to the wire? It's far too reminiscent of recent windows and links with Fabregas, Thiago etc.

Maybe the interest Spurs were expecting never materialised for whatever reason. United saw the opportunity and chanced it.

It'd be an amazing signing. After getting a CB, we really need a creative force in midfield. We don't control games from there. Even with Pogba, it's in fits and bursts rather than calculated, consistent domination. Eriksen is exactly what we need.

Guy who swore we were getting Dybala?

Didn't say we were getting him. Just that we were involved with him, which we were.

Also Romero Agresti who's considered Tier 1 in Italy.

Surely Levy won't meet his wage demands?

Wouldn't have thought so. But Juventus are desperate to get him off the books. Maybe they'll make concessions on the fee, or the timing of the installments so that Spurs can boost the wages a bit. Can't be too much though, or Kane et al will be banging the door down for another new contract.

Don't really know what to expect from the last few days of the window. Nothing about the speed at which deals have progressed this summer fills me confidence that we'll get one (or more) signings over the line by the 9th. I think we're still a couple of players short, particularly in midfield - Matic for the rest of the season would be a disaster. Accepting a cash-only deal for Lukaku would be v. risky - might bring in the dough, but leave us very little time to spend it, not to mention that we'll be a goalscorer short.

Eriksen would make it an amazing window for us, honestly. We still have a ton of work to do but that's the situation we are/were in. Next summer we could then focus on Sancho + DM  (+ Pogba replacement). Then we start to look like a team who could win something, though it'd probably need one more Summer on top of that.

But but but but but....it ain't happening soooooooooooooo

Just to counter that excitement the latest rumours are linking us to a star from Spurs last season

Llorente

😂😂😂😂

Would rather sign nobody but as a plan B it could be worse for free tbh, did a job for spurs last year, not like he had any pace left to lose lol

-e- if he's good friends with Christian I'd definitely do it :L

Why would you sign for this club as a foreigner if you know you’re going to be managed by a complete novice who could be gone within a few months?

As for Llorente, I’d rather we just folded or bring back Zlatan. Remember when we could bring in the likes of Henrik Larsson on loan? Fernando fucking Llorente.
