So far off the level required to win this league.

Forget the league.

We’re even miles behind Spurs and Arsenal.

We are Everton’s level right now.

A 7th-10th PL side.

splash the cash all he wants but he has lost tactically. 12 points off them and that tells everything that needs to be known.

Kind of performance which will hurt for a long time.

Just fuming at the way they toyed with us. Fuck Sterling the cunt.

I just can't believe we're so bad. Mine of the top 6 will come to the Etihad and do what we just did tactically. The worst we've looked this season is when we've looked like reverting back to the Mourinho tactic. International break to sit with this shit too

Why the surprise?     Just how good do you deludedly think this United squad is?

About as deluded as you thinking how bad it is.

😁  So ive been saying for 2 years how obviously poor we are, as the football results and performances show. Yet you keep preaching how capable this squad is?

And I'm deluded!!🤣

Sorry....but its hard to take game of football seriously when one of the teams involved have been accused serious cheating, so hope they end up facing the music and the book being thrown properly at them.

Other than that United...played proper Mourinho.

Neville is trying so hard to not blame Mourinho for this shower of shit. Weird.

He saved Mourinho's job after the Newcastle game as well. Mutant cunt.

He was reluctant to criticise Wenger during his finals years also.

Neville probably remembers the Arsenal and Chelsea sides he faced, and can't believe it's a manager issue as a result.

12 points behind already, they also have a goal difference of 31 whilst were -1. So fucking depressing.

And that -1 really tells it all!

No shots hardly at every opponents goal in every ninety minutes does not make for entertainment. This United are just so depressing to watch. It's like every game you're waiting for the opposition to score and then United have no option but to actually try attacking!

A couple of good comebacks/results papered over the cracks. We're still no better than we were, and it is absolutely frightening/saddening to think about how far behind we are. Never mind City or Liverpool, we're miles behind Spurs, Chelsea and even Arsenal, which is especially annoying considering they've just changed their own long-serving manager.

It's not real surprise how dominant City were, yet the tactics after getting a goal back were bizarre. Havng a safety first attitude might well be an arguable approach when the game is level or you're winning, but to retreat into such a deep position and be so defensive for the rest of the game when you're still needing another goal is pathetic. You don't get goals by not being in a position to create a chance, and I have no idea how he ever thought we were ever going to get a goal.

The result of having two humungous problems.

Problem 1/.    Mourinho is fully aware that he is effectively working his notice.  Thus no war chest to put it right.  So we are pretty much fucked there.

Problem 2/.    There are half dozen players that know they wont be here next season under a new manager.     Possibly the two worst ingredients you can have  when it comes to pulling a club out of the shite.

The bottom line is he has failed. And has been failed by players that failed  previous managers also.  He thought he could change them but he couldn't.  Live by the sword then you die by it.   The league was gone 8 games into the season. Out of the League cup at the first hurdle, at home too!  And clearly boys among men in the Champions league.

The vultures have long done just hovering, they've landed and  began to feast. And he knows it.     It simply hasn't been good enough.  Nowhere near in fact.    Its Van Gaal revisited.   Even if he were to win some silverware, he's toast.
