O 20,759
Holland have some scary young talents to add to this. Memphis needs them to unearth a striker that he can play off. He’s deadly just off a striker. England’s big issues are the midfield and goalkeeper. Stones needs to leave City to revive his career. utd4life
utd4life 875
1988 was the last time Holland won a trophy. Portugal won it 3 years ago. So my logic says Holland should win it!! History is on Holland side too. Portugal has never won a trophy on its soil!

Needs more prestige and value. Automatic qualification to a European Championship would help.
THE BASTARD 1,401
The stage is set for the man. Messi washed up. Ronny still doing it. Mkhi22

Holland really needs a striker like Van Persie Their go is not good either. Although Ajax keeper is better I think 2 minutes ago, O said: Wouldn’t really classify this as a trophy just yet. Brobbey might be that guy if he can transfer his skillset to senior football. He’s so damn physically impressive now, it’s hard to tell if he’s good or simply has a size advantage at youth level. utd4life

Cole 3,277
Kane is the new Rooney. He plays when he isnt fully fit and he stinks the team out. Both England and Spurs were better off without him in their last games. Burns92
John Locke 1,215
At least now we don't have to wait 2 years for the england bubble to burst. Holland were gifted the game though and perhaps a little lucky with the lingard offside. We learnt that walker and stones are still suspect at this level. Rice was ok i suppose but doesn't look a worldbeater like de jong. Barkley was impressive but otherwise we need more central midfield options. Kane seems to struggle against organized defences. U4L 227
I couldn't watch the game but two things that continue to satisfy me under Southgate. Continuing to adapt a new playing style despite flaws. Making big decisions like benching Kane, for to long people with untouchable status continue to get picked despite fitness issues and to see Kane not start was a huge breath of fresh air considering his status to the nation. We might not win anything under his tenureship but we are making progress and competing with better footballing nations in comparison to historical performances. utd4life 875
although i wanted Holland to reach final but this is a very small and specific detail to cancel a goal.
RedDevilDazzy 3,130
We lost? Knew we would. Like we were going to get through anyway, also we may beat Switzerland, but if we don't this team just doesn't cut it to win anything major.

O 20,759
Sterling’s finishing is very poor when it’s not a tap-in from a cross. Dele is League One level in an England shirt. Unlucky with his heading today. The midfield is way too workmanlike. Badly need to develop a system that allows all of their attacking midfielders to flourish. Pep managed to do it for Silva and De Bruyne.
Mkhi22 427
I feel England will never have the technical ability in midfield required to be successful at international level. They did have one of the best in the world but they stuck his ginger ass out on the left wing.

Sterling———————Kane———————Sancho Maddison/Mount———Barkley/Foden Rice/Winks LB—————CB———CB——————RB GK Depends on how guys like Maddison, Mount, Foden and Gomes develop over the coming years, as Dele and Lingard will still be around. England really need Winks to stay fit and push on.
