1Day 104
When you have to go past extra time, then both teams should be eliminated, due to the nature of the content,as no goals were scored over 120 minutes, this equals to no entertainment value created. While you are not wrong, given your premise, Im against against the existence of EFL cup altogether,Ā Ā I have never felt anything every time we won it or lost it for that matter,Ā I was too young in 1991,Ā Not in 2006, not in 2010, not 2011, not 2017,Ā I have always said I wish we could swamp them for FA cup. and the reason i'm against the EFL cup is here: When the Munich air Disaster in 1957-58 happened EFL cup didn't exist, United was chasing "The Treble" the one we won in 1998-99. United only took part twice in it after it was introduced in 1961 throughout the rest of Busby's era.Ā United only start taking part in it regularly when it was made mandatory for teams to do so. Alan Hardarker who was chairmen of English football league (EPL wasn't thing back then) put lot pressure on United after Busby decided to defy his order to always return home quickly as possible after each trip abroad and because of that United tried to get home as early as possible each time, on that faithful trip they even rented plane to meet Hardarker's demands. If flight had been post phoned its believed that the accident would have been avoided as there was slush up on the runway.Ā

Klopp actively tries his best to go out of this early every year, only for his youngsters to keep progressing. It's not at Anfield, so I imagine City will win comfortably if Klopp doesn't take it seriously. I think these games are scheduled for the 21st/22nd of December, before The PL resumes. O 20,315
City vs Liverpool tonight. Liverpool had a lot less players go to The WC than City did, so they might just shade this. Kelleher, Robertson, Tsimikas, Matip, Gomez, Thiago, Milner, KeĆÆta, Curtis Jones, The Ox, HaveryĀ Elliot, FĆ”bio Carvalho,Ā Luis DĆaz, Salah, JotaĀ and Firmino all didn't go.Ā Fabinho and TAA barely kicked a ball in Qatar. This could give them an edge heading into the 2nd half of the season. City only had Ortega, Sergio Gómez, Rico Lewis, Cole Palmer, Mahrez and Haaland miss out on Qatar.
