Henrikh Mkhitaryan, our Armenian Magician entering his second season as a United player. He played 41 games with the records of 11 goals and 5 assists under in all competition in his first season with United, decent numbers but it doesn't tell the whole story. he didn't start particularly well.

after signing for United on 2nd of July 2016, he didn't go straight into the first team and used sparingly during the first month of the season. Henrikh only registered his first Premier League start in a Manchester Derby, which he looked really lost and went off after the break. After his horrendous match against City, he suffered an injury and found himself being by the touchline for a month.

After recovering, he only got the chance to prove himself on Europa League matches. He was not getting any nod in Premier League, not even the bench. He marked his return to Premier League on a draw against West Ham as a substitute. He got the break he needed with a banging goal against Spurs at Old Trafford, which was the only goal and win us the match. After that he missed two more games, but featured regularly since then towards the end of the season.

Henrikh played a huge role during our Europa League campaign though, scoring 6 from 11 games. Which were important goals during the knockout stage, including 1 goal in the Final against Ajax.

Henrikh has promised himself his second season will be much better, as he did both with Shakhtar Donetsk and Borussia Dortmund. His pre-season looked really promising and seems like he is settling well with the team. Will Henrikh's second season be better than last season? Will he be José's go to guy? Only when the season starts will we see.

I think he'll do exactly this quite often this season. He'll be having a quite game but then pop up with an assist or two, vitally important to our campaign.
