Well done to Fury. . . Klitschko will be gutted I'm sure but considerably less gutted when he gets to nail this back at the hotel:

Pacquiao has never looked less dangerous offensively. Floyd is a genius. Gets called boring yet people can't help but watch. It's an under appreciated skill to avoid getting hit like he can.

FROCH v GROVES PART II (Now it's Personal)

Can't wait to watch this, for me this will be like Benn v Eubank all over again. I loved Eubank although he was loathed in general.

I had a lot of time for FROCH even after the first match but of late he has been acting the cock, even for a Boxer!!

Groves may just do him this time after the harsh stoppage last time around.

There's boxing on Channel 5 tonight, a lad from my town fighting for the vacant Irish light middleweight title against a guy from Galway.

The weigh in for the first round of the MaxiNutrition light heavyweight tourney, which takes place tomorrow night at the Rivermead Centre, Reading and will be screened live on Channel 5, took place today at the Crowne Plaza Hotel.

The first two quarter finals will feature veteran former multi-weight British and European champion Dean Francis (12st 6lbs 6oz) contesting the British light heavyweight title against Nottingham’s former English champ Bob Ajisafe (12st 6lbs 7oz), and Dubliner Leon Senior(12st 6lbs 9oz) defending his Southern Area title against Southampton’s Tony Hill (12st 6lbs).

Morden’s former British light welterweight champion Lightning Lenny Dawsfights Poland’s Arek Malek, while Galway’s Peter McDonagh contests the vacant Irish light middleweight title against Buncrana’s John Hutchinson

Reading’s up and coming talent Tamuka Mucha takes on seasoned Brummie Max Maxwell, and there’s outings for local lads Ricky O'Brienand Thomas Jarvis as well as Belfast’s James Fryers and Slough’s John Brennan.

The action gets underway at 10.00pm on Channel 5.

Pacquiao v Bradley II tonight.

Thinking of booking the fight, as I think it could be a hugely entertaining bout.

I'm finding it a hard one to call. I'm a fan of Manny and I'd like to see him win it. But I have a feeling it's Bradley who will be victorious. Bradley is a fighter on the up, full of confidence and he's looked impressive in his last couple of fights.

I can see it going all the way. Predicting Bradley to win by split decision.

I'm going with Pac - last decision was absolute Bullshit

He'll be hungry to set the record straight plus I can see Bradley losing a point, he's a dirty lil fucker

Can't see it going the distance - Pac in the late rounds

Pacquaio's best days are well behind him. He should have called it a day after the Marquez loss. Bradley is an interesting fighter, very technical and knows how to score points to win rounds. Pac's best chance is to use a speed advantage to pressurise Bradley out of his gameplan. Also a factor could be the negative psychological effects that Bradley said he had after the first fight. I'd probably go Bradley via decision. Pacquaio has not finished an opponent in years, he's going to really have to outwork Bradley for 12 rounds.

Isn't he always like that?

What time is the fight anyways/

Obviously he's never been a big talker... But it was more his eyes / body language... He just doesn't seem to want it

I hope I'm wrong, because the last decision was a joke! Just can't see it

They're saying 4.30 - think there's one more fight on now before it

HW division died a long time ago. I fear for the sport when Floyd and to a lesser extent Pac retire. I don't think Ward has the same pulling power. It will still be strong on a British level.

Ward just needs to have one marquee fight to really push on I think, he's a phenomenal boxer but for management reasons hasn't really had a fight that is worthy of his rankings in the P4P list and really thrust him into the spotlight. Him against Golovkin would be absolutely mouthwatering.

Mayweather will get $32m for the fight this weekend, Maidana's cut is $1.5m

It's a fight I'd like to see but not sure how big a name Golovkin is. Floyd was helped by a complete destruction of a fighter like Gatti then well-promoted big name fights against DLH and Hatton that turned him into a global superstar. Ward hasn't really had that big performance despite completely outlcassing almost all of his opponents. Another issue is that he doesn't fight enough, only 2 fights since dominating Froch. The division is always changing while he's inactive. Floyd earned this right by becoming bigger than his division.

Golovkins name will be known once he defeats JC Chavez Jr which will be another great fight I'll be looking forward too, I do agree with you though that he needs to get his name out there somewhat he has all the talent in the world though so I wouldn't put it past him, hopefully once his management issues are resolved he'll start fighting a lot more which seems to be the impediment atm.
