O 20,435
ST Mount-----------Sterling Chilwell--------Kovačić------DM------R.James Badiashile-----T.Silva------Fofana GK That's what Chelsea need to be next season. Possibly need another AM as well.
TheManc 4,052
Tbf to chelsea they've been without 3 starters all season and have had loads of others on top.

I think at the moment although it Chelsea it's still a step up from Brighton. Chelsea are very poor though as a team there is no conviction in them. His record prior to chelsea is impressive but winning titles and managing elite players will present a new challenge and it's unchartered territory for potter. Does he possess the leadership capabilities of managers that have won titles like ferguson, wenger, mourinho and klopp? He needs to be given at least one summer transfer window but in the meantime he can't afford to let things slide too much because before long he might be seen as another moyes ie not cut out for top four clubs and not worth sticking with. I'm starting to have doubts that he is charismatic enough and possesses the true leadership potential to take him to the very top of the game but we'll see.

A bit harsh to judge him given their injuries, taking over during a new takeover, and without a full pre-season to work on tactics. If it's truly a football project under Boehly, it will take time like it did for Arteta. They've brought a lot of people from Brighton with Potter, so they must see this as a long term plan. It's Chelsea though. I wouldn't have gone there. He should have seen the season out with Brighton, and waited for the right club + timing. Not taking it would be seen as a lack of ambition. You don't get many of these opportunities in football. A clear out is needed over the next 2 windows. hdcantona and Gary

You don't get many of these opportunities in football. A clear out is needed over the next 2 windows. There would be few decent options in the foreseeable future unless he takes a job abroad. He is looking at one of the top 6 teams after a club like brighton. Non of those managers are particularly in danger. Regardless of whether Chelsea are in transition, the quality of player and squad depth is higher than at brighton so he should be expected to get goodish results. Howe turned things round quickly at Newcastle. When a club is on a bad run sometimes the manager needs to give the players a kick up the backside a bit like ten hag did after the brentford game. Chelsea have two games coming up that they should be winning. It would be a big call to sack the manager but the knives are sharpening. Of course it depends on his relationship with the board. If he is not convincing in outlining his long term plan and acting like he can handle the job then they won't keep the faith for long.
PVAD 4,461
They say Di Canio's volley was one of the best ever...well he's been trumped by Gnonto. Wow just wow! The lad has bundles of talent he'll be snapped up in the summer imo. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/av/football/64325521 TFIA and hdcantona
hdcantona 8,731
City and Arsenal largely cancelling each other out though Arsenal have had the better chances - have to say it is grim whenever teams like these put in their backup GKs and they're able to ping the ball about superbly for the most part - they have other flaws making them a bit ropey but compared to our GK situation it's depressing O

O 20,435
That's the quietest game Saka has had all season. Aké is a beast. Arsenal will be happy enough. They rotated a lot more than City and pushed them all the way.

He's made a great step up especially as a pep style inverted lb, a perfect role for him, albeit the goal was still really unexpected, weak foot and all! O 20,435
Danjuma debut goal. He's a very good player when fit. Spurs have good depth in attack with Kulusevski, Son, Danjuma, Richarlison and Kane. It's the GK and centre backs that need upgrading. hdcantona
hdcantona 8,731
Gakpo not pulling up many trees, though they are forcing him through the middle as opposed to coming from the left (I suspect we'd have done the same) - I do think he'll be good in time though
John Locke 1,162
Brighton are doing well. They keep losing players but somehow have others to step up. Fabinho just decked ferguson. Let's hope the latter is ok.
O 20,435
Liverpool are getting away with murder. Clear foul on Mac Allister. And now a horror tackle on Ferguson from that prick Fabinho. It should have been a red card. hdcantona
