Shaw talks a good talk in front of the media.

No excuses next season, @hdcantona

You can get away with it in The Eredivisie. ten Hag has struggled in the knockout stages in Europe for a reason. Despite some good group stage showings. I see Mount as a Bruno type player. Not a CM or Fred alternative. He wants to be on the ball and creative. He just happens to work hard off the ball, which is a bonus. ten Hag would be better off trying to sign Gravenberch. Tuchel will likely revive his Bayern career if he does stay though. Liverpool are interested. I'm very surprised that ten Hag isn't interested in players like Caqueret and Enzo Le Fée. He really see

I don't think Bruno and Mount together would be ideal against most of the top half teams. Casemiro is not an elite ball 1st phase player. You really need a Rodri/de Jong type to make that work. You could have Mount. and Bruno between the lines waiting to receive a pass. Lisandro Martínez can help negate that, but it's still not ideal. There are better options than Mount for that position anyway. Mount would offer good depth though.

Haaland has missed about 7 sitters over the past month. That was a great game between two elite possession based teams. Brighton could have won that on a different night. Ortega is really good.
-
Kane and Bruno would either be a raging success or a complete disaster. Kane likes to drop off to link the play and play defence splitting passes. Bruno likes to do the same things. Maybe Bruno could make 3rd man runs and Kane could help find them with his passing range. It's hard to tell without seeing them play together. I don't think Kane would a bad signing. A younger striker would be better though.

I hope he doesn't go anywhere near United. At least not for a couple of years. Brighton is perfect for him right now. He can develop there for another 2-3 seasons if they stay on the trajectory that they are on, and then an elite club will come with a big offer (which Brighton will deserve after developing him).

ten Hag is arrogant. Most elite sportspeople are. Neymar is probably the most underrated player of this century. Joining PSG ruined people's perception of him. He had not become so injury prone, I'd swap him for Rashford without hesitation.

Disagree. They haven't played CL football since 16/17. This is their highest points tally since 2008. If they win their final game of the season, they will have accumulated their highest tally since 04/05. Arsenal look close to becoming an elite level team. They have shown that when everyone is fit. Saliba's injury killed them. They are a few signings away from being able to sustain it over an entire season. I'd rather be in Arsenal's position than United's. Arteta has rebuilt that club in less than 4 years. Their summer transfer business will define their next few seasons.

Bournemouth have dropped off since securing safety. They've lost 3 in a row, including Chelsea at home. Lampard's only win. Everton are the only team who control their own destiny. They have to win.
-
They accumulated an xG of 2.05 and hit the post 3 times... It's not exactly a good Newcastle squad overall. Howe has done a really good job. Wait until they add some real pedigree. Isak and ASM missed a lot of games this season. Two of their most dynamic players. Pope, Burn, Schär, Longstaff and Almirón will all need to be upgraded over time. They're like City circa 2009. It's only the beginning.
-
They've left it out of their own hands though. All Everton have to do is win and they're safe. It'll be a nervy Goodison Park, but surely they'll beat Bournemouth.
-
Leicester have had 17% possession and 0 shots without him. ZERO.
-
Andreas Pereira was held back by United. Like Vieira at Milan, Henry at Juve, etc.
-
Great skillz. Even United fans are laughing.
-
The official account is either dumb, run by @hdcantona... or both.
-
Barkley was a transition merchant. Maddison has actual technical ability. I'd probably take Andreas Pereira over Bruno as well.
-
Apparently Spalletti might leave Napoli at the end of the season! United can't pass up this opportunity to sign a better bald manager, @hdcantona

Way more versatile. He's played a million positions this season in a poverty side, yet still scored 10 goals and assisted 9 others. Only 28 games due to injury. Vardy has only scored 3 PL goals, so that's a solid return. Barnes is their only decent finisher these days. Bruno has a better work rate.
-
Ødegaard has scored 15 goals (13 from open play) on top of his creativity and ability to dictate tempo. 13 is a lot. KDB can drive with the ball and take-on defenders. Bruno's finishing has been poor for awhile now. He can't/doesn't run with the ball either. He lives and dies with his high risk passing. Like how Golden State live and die by the three-point shot. His emotions often get the better of him. That is a serious flaw. He does posses some obvious quality, but is a strange individual. He'd have been a god in the late 90's/early 00s. United fans already love him in t

Palmer is a Foden regen. He's not made the most of his opportunities this season, but is a talent. Just turned 21. Local lad and fan like Foden.
-
Yep. All Everton have to do is match their result next week to stay up. I expect Everton to beat Bournemouth at home, and Leeds to beat Spurs. Leicester would need to win both games now. Unlikely away to Newcastle who need a point to secure CL football.
-
He also said that 4th is Arsenal's level/place. Arsenal shouldn't be disheartened by their season. Beat Wolves at home and they finish on 84 points. That would be 25 more points than last season. They're a bit like United during 05-07. Plenty of talented young players, but lacking overall depth. United had better senior pros and a more experienced manager to lead the likes of Fletcher, Rooney and Ronaldo. Fergie corrected the squad depth issue by signing Hargreaves, Anderson, Nani and Tevez. That's what Arsenal need to do. Add 3-4 really good players to fill out the squad. Rice and C

He also said that United would finish ahead of Arsenal around February. It's about the only thing he's gotten right this season.
