He's done a good job at getting rid of players. Ronaldo, De Gea, Jones, Telles, Maguire and possibly Fred all gone by the start of his 2nd season.
However...
Weghorst. Making Bruno captain. And there's talks of a new deal for AWB. Son, I am disappoint.
It's now his squad by the end of this window. The spine of the team has been altered with the signings of Onana, L.Martínez, Casemiro, Mount and Højlund.
8 permanent signings. Two promotions in Garnacho and Mainoo. And there'll probably be another CB and midfielder brought in.

Scamacca will be good for Atalanta, I think he'd have been a decent option for us even tbh as a cheaper alternative
I actually think they'd have been my 3rd favourite team to go down if not for them adding maguire (will do well for them) and Wolves imploding (amongst other teams)
Aguerd is really good, so it will be interesting to see if Maguire takes his spot. Zouma would be a better partner for Slabhead.

im seeing reports of a 70+m fee? surely not? He's good but not *THAT* good?
Would fit them like a glove though to be fair
They bought him for £51 million (total package) and his release clause is £85 million next summer. He wants out, so I can see West Ham settling for £65-70 million.
He adapted well to Moyesball after a few months last season, but is better suited to a less defensive style.
Fairly damning that Moyes was given players like Aguerd, Paquetá and Scamacca last season, yet just about avoided relegation.

My top 6 predictions:
1. Arsenal
2. City
3. Liverpool
4. United
5. Chelsea
6. SpursLiverpool's season depends on what DM they bring in.
Spurs will be fine if they keep Kane. But even if they don't, I think they'll do well. Just not as well as Villa.

City are interested in Paquetá. He'd be a good replacement for Gündoğan. Goals from midfield.
-
Closing in on a deal worth around £30 million if he can agree personal terms.

3-0 win. Maybe even 4-0.
Timing couldn't be worse for Wolves ahead of the new season.

Bro looks washed.

Nkunku is out for at least 16 weeks with a knee injury.
Chelsea have had rotten luck. Fofana has done his ACL after a a bad knee injury last season.

Good shout.
I think this season Wolves & Bournemouth might disappear.
Wolves could be in trouble due to a lack of goals. But Kalajdžić will hopefully be available soon.
I think Bournemouth will surprise people again. Ambitious coach. Some decent signings.

Based on who played today then, and who was sub specifically, maybe something like this:
Sancho (60m)
Pellistri Forson
Eriksen Hannibal
McTominay
Fernandez Lindelof Maguire AWB
Heaton
Imagine charging Irish fans €60-70 to watch that.

Just stop
No other team can compete with United's front three depth.
Rashford, Sancho, Garnacho, Højlund, Martial, Antony, Greenwood and Amad/Pellistri.

He got lucky last season. That Conference League win saved their season.
I think West Ham will struggle this season.
They've already given up on Scamacca after just 1 season. Sold to Atalanta.
Rice leaving will weaken them a lot.
The good news for clubs like United is that they might now overpay for the likes of McTominay.

Liverpool really missed a DM vs Bayern today. Lost 4-3. Great going forward, but too open in midfield.
Mac Allister struggled with the role they gave him.
Peach of an assist from Kim Min-jae. Great signing. Sané was very good vs City last week and also Liverpool today.
If they sign a DM, I think they'll be fine.
-
Arsenal are trying to sign David Raya.
To think United stuck with De Gea for 11 years, while Arsenal are already thinking about upgrading Ramsdale after 2 seasons.
His passing has been a weak link. Drops the odd clanger as well. Raya is a different profile.

Fergie really got his ass handed to him at times during his final few seasons. Muniain... what could have been.

yes, those XIs were so strong as well
Rightly so, while we made chances (lots fluffed) Shaw was poor, AWB was poor, Casemiro was poor, Bruno ineffectual, a lot of that team which was only playing 30 mins I think was expected to come in and be sharp and they managed to collectively be much worse than the second string that had largely played dortmund off the park (few shocking defensive errors aside)
Vs a newly promoted League Two team. It was basically like an EFL Cup game.
United had Bishop, Evans, Fish, Fernández, Hannibal and Shoretire who have more experience at a higher level than some of the Wrexham squad. It's made up of players who have played between League One and National League level.
The one that played Altrincham was much weaker.

Richarlison will be fine. He's shown that he can score goals at Everton and Brazil.
They just signed 19 year old Véliz from Rosario. He could end up becoming another Julián Álvarez.
He's scored 17 top flights goals from 51 games. Álvarez scored 34 goals from 74 games in Argentina.
Spurs have multiple players capable of 10+ goals a season. Richarlison, Véliz, Maddison, Son, Kulusevski, Solomon.
They'll probably buy another ST/wide forward.
It'll take time to rebuild Spurs.
